2 Hours in Pandora: The World of Avatar

5/17/2018

I

t rained so hard when I visited Animal Kingdom for the first time. I really wanted to see Pandora The World of Avatar that day. I braved the rain, took an uber to Animal Kingdom and there I was.

As soon as I entered Animal Kingdom, I rushed towards the line for Avatar Flight of Passage since I couldn't get a fast pass for the ride. The wait time was 2 hours.
The line started outside and while waiting, I took a few photos with my poncho on. I know, what a bummer that I'm wearing a poncho in all of my photos 😔 . The place however was beautiful! Whoever designed Pandora did a wonderful job. It was a breathtaking view.
The Tree of Life is a 145-foot sculpture of a baobab tree at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort. It debuted when the attraction opened on April 22, 1998.

I see Pandora!!

After an hour of waiting outside, I finally got in and waited for another hour. It was fun to see Jake's avatar just like in the movie. It was kinda creepy and amazing at the same time.

Jake's avatar was moving. It looked so real.

I waited 2 hours in line and it was worth it! It felt amazing during and after the ride! That feeling when you think you're flying in Pandora that you get teary-eyed. I swear I was a bit emotional when I was on that ride! They really did a great job making it!!! I wish it was more than 4 minutes.

I'll probably have to book a year ahead and get a fast pass next time. I want to explore the theme park when it's not raining. This visit was a last minute decision. My plan was to only visit Magic Kingdom but I decided to check out Animal Kingdom and Epcot too. Thanks to Disney's free shuttle, transporting from one theme park to another was easy.

Just took a selfie, and walked around for 30 minutes then left.

Thank you again to Disney World for the complimentary passes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
